I believe that therapy is important.

And I know that changing our behavior is hard.

Sometimes we may not know what the problem is, we just know that things aren't right - feeling stressed, depressed, or anxious - and it's getting in the way of living. Or maybe it's that something has happened in the past that's getting in the way of being in the present - perhaps a trauma, maybe losing a loved one or the impact of a relationship. Sometimes, we don't know why we keep continuing with old patterns or old habits even though we want to change. Or, perhaps you know what changes you want to make, and need support while you go through them.

Whatever your situation, I believe therapy offers a valuable pathway to help you step back, evaluate, and gives you the choices to do things differently in your life. Rather than living on auto-pilot, reacting to our environment, therapy offers us the opportunity to change, supporting you to regain control of your life and can provide concrete strategies to help you do so. I'm a Clinical Psychologist with experience working in both the public and private sectors in Australia. Over the last 10 years I have provided psychological intervention and support to people experiencing a variety of disorders and life problems including Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, and others. I am trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, interpersonal therapy and mindfulness based approaches. I interweave my knowledge of these approaches into my practice in order to offer intervention and support tailored to your needs.
